Who We Are

The Richmond District has around 20,000 residents who are considered food insecure and the Richmond Neighborhood Center operates many different food programs to help address this every growing need.

The largest of the Neighborhood Center's food programs is the weekly food pantries. Each week the Neighborhood Center serves around 800 residents at one of the three weekly food pantries with the help of 40-60 volunteers throughout the week.

What We Do

Volunteers help to unload the delivery of food, set up the food pantry in a farmer's market style, pack grocery bags and/or serve food to those attending.

The food pantry is a place buzzing with community, resources and kindness.
